Kosher Village was established in 2021 as a consulting company following many years in which I built a wide database of information regarding vacations abroad for the religious and orthodox audience.
Certainly, the main concern is the fact that it is difficult to source "kosher" food during these types of vacations. Other issues concerning "How to behave in an hotel on Saturday?" or "How to locate a nearby synagogue?" are also addressed.
My familiarity with this market and its demands lead me to organize my knowledge and propose my consulting services to this audience to enable any religious person who wishes to travel abroad independently to benefit from this information.
About myself - Kosher Chak is my professional name by which I have been known for years by my friends and family, and over the past 2 years by my colleagues as well.
In my frequent travels abroad, I collect information regarding kosher restaurants and cafes, getting to know more of the Jewish community members, where and how they manage their "Kosher life" abroad and forward this information to the travelers I work with. Many of the places I recommend, I have personally visited, and maintain contact with the management, to ensure that I have accurate details on hand to pass on to travellers.
People approach me regarding general questions and also use my services to provide them with a complete trip, that could include a range of activities - treks, hotels, restaurants as well as advice on budgetary issues.
I recently initiated a project in which I work with hotels in central tourist locations, assisting them in creating a new line of "services" to enable the religious market to enjoy a "kosher" stay at their hotel over the holidays.
